William John (Bill) Dummet, Jr.

Mr. William John (Bill) Dummet, Jr. age 86, of Rockmart, GA passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

He was born in New Orleans, LA on December 29, 1932 a son of the late William John Dummet, Sr. and the late Ethel Bartels Dummet. Mr. Dummet had been a resident of Rockmart since 1993 moving here from Florida. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Air Force and was of the Catholic faith. He was a retired District Sales Manager with Toyota. Mr. Dummet enjoyed traveling, fishing and crabbing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, William John Dummet, III and by a sister, Audrey Huggitt.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Dummet to whom he was married on November 14, 1991; two daughters: Connie Louise Necaisse and Dorothy Marie Franklin; three step children: Jesse Mark Aaron, Kimmie Marie Aaron and Christopher Andrew Aaron; two grandchildren; four step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

In keeping with his wishes Mr. Dummet will be cremated and no formal services will be planned. His cremains will be placed in the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA.
